This season started very badly for Robert Skibniewski as the club of his heart, Slask Wroclaw, filed for bankruptcy. It was one of the first sporting victims of the financial crisis. That's why he had to leave Poland to play in the Czech Republic, though it didn't change his performances. He was a high level passer in Poland, and he is still a high level passer in his new club. He actually ended 4th in assists in the Czech league averaging 5.1 per game. He's also loved by the fans because of his strong character and his court vision. However "Skiba" is not very athletic. Indeed, he can't dunk.
