Giorgos Printezis' status has change drastically since he got drafted by the San Antonio Spurs (#58) in the summer of 2007. Known as a great athlete, he confirmed that during the two past seasons, with Olympiakos, at Euroleague level. Printezis is fast, very athletic and can also be a fighter under the basket and a reliable mid-range shooter. He grew up with Olympiakos and was lent for a season (2006-07) to Olympia Larissas. He made the best out of this year, gaining playing time and experience and being voted as the best youth player of ESAKE. Back with Olympiakos, he's probably one of the most improved players in Europe from the past two years. Printezis should eventually play with the Raptors, who acquired his rights just after the draft.
