Achara could be forgiven for viewing time with the national team as a blessed relief after being part of the nightmare that was the stacked Fortitudo team that was surprisingly relegated from Lega A after a car crash of a season. Achara was used consistently off the bench and the same would apply if he squeezes into the Great Britain roster. A good character around the camp but with little experience of court time so far, the Scottish forward will now be ready to convince Finch of his worth with his first rookie pro season under his belt. Terrific athleticism and an impressive wingspan he has definitely got game but is not exactly near the front of what is a long queue in the GB frontcourt.
