Team 2008-09: OLYMPIAKOS ATHENS (Greece-A1)
Career: KK Split (Croatia-A1, 1995-2001), Asvel Villeurbanne (France- Pro A, 2001-02), Maccabi Tel Aviv (Israel - Premier, 2002- 08)
Will return to the national team having missed the last couple of major tournaments which hasn't exactly endeared him to Croatian supporters. However they recognise that he brings so much to the table that could mean the difference between early elimination or reaching the final stages and even challenging for a medal. Vujcic remains one of the best big men in Europe and after leaving Maccabi after many successful years, he has had a successful first season in Greece, helping Olympiakos reach the Euroleague Final Four. This time he may only play around 20 minutes per game as he is a little older now and some question marks have been raised around his durability and being prone to injury. Nevertheless, a class act when he is on the floor and can offer true quality with the skills to mix it up with the best centers in the tournament.
