During EuroBasket 2007, Goran Dragic's rating soared significantly. His performance impressed NBA scouts, allowing him to be drafted in 2008 by the San Antonio Spurs in the second round. He was immediately traded to the Phoenix Suns where he played his first season in the league. In Arizona he has a great mentor in the person of the future hall-of-famer Steve Nash. Like the double MVP, he's very dangerous in transition, thanks to his above average quickness for a player of his size. He's also a good finisher as well as a solid defender. He's the future of the national team.
