Team 2008-09: JOVENTUT BADALONA (Spain-ACB)

After a solid performance at EuroBasket 2007, Lithuanian forward Jasaitis followed his coach Neven Spajiha from Maccabi Tel Aviv to Vitoria to play for Tau Ceramica. But during his first year in Spain, Jasaitis saw his minutes drop significantly in comparison to the previous season (from 25 to 14). That led to his scoring and rebounding averages dipping from 9.9 and 3.5 to 4.6 and 1.4, respectively. The reduction in playing time was partly due to a series of minor injuries that kept Jasaitis off the court from time to time. Nevertheless, Jasaitis reached the Euroleague Final Four with Tau and celebrated an ACB title triumph in the spring of 2008, before moving to Badalona in search for more playing time.
