Didn't play during qualification or in the last EuroBasket tournament but has just completed a steady first season in the ACB playing on a mediocre Pamesa Valencia team whose better moments came when Perovic was in form. Didn't exactly take the NBA by storm and was compared by some to Rasho Nesterovic, the center has struggled to fulfil his potential. Is restricted by a lack of quickness, something often evident in big games against better quality opponents and needs to be more aggressive on the glass but nevertheless, will be a great addition to the Serbia team and there is little doubt he has the quality to put in some big performances during the tournament. Has a lot of quality and is a decent shot blocker.
