Career: Spartak Moscow (Russia-Superleague B, 2000-01), Dynamo Moscow (Russia-Superleague B, 2001-02), Dynamo Moscow (Russia-Superleague, 2002-04), Universitet Surgut (Russia-Superleague, 2004-05), Dynamo Moscow (Russia-Superleague, 2005-09)
Except one season in Surgut, Sergey Bykov has always played pro basketball for Dynamo Moscow, improving every year. He had his coming out party for the national team last summer during the Olympic Games, providing some consistent scoring for the Russians. Bykov is a natural shooting guard who has adapted to the point guard position since 2005-06. He's a clever passer and particularly enjoys pushing the ball on the fast break. He's often appreciated by coaches for his energy, bravery and adaptability. In the absence of J.R. Holden, Blatt will need him more than ever.
