This guy can really shoot from anywhere and just loves to score. But on a Latvian squad blessed with very gifted offensive players he has yet to show it with the national team... Back in 1999, Janicenoks was the second leading scorer at the U16 European championship averaging 23.5 points per game. He was also a key member of juniors and under 20 squads... Not able to confirm locally in the LBL Janicenoks took his game abroad to Belgium where he was one of the main factors in Liege’s surprising 2003-04 season as the club finished third in the standings, reached the league finals and won the Belgian cup. His strong showing (11.5 pts) caught the eye of German power house Telekom Bonn where he shined in the ULEB Cup (14.3 pts)... Has signed a contract with Capo d’Orlando, promoted to Italy’s Serie A.
