Career: Barcelona (Spain-ACB, 1997-2007), Washington Wizards (NBA, 2007-08), FC Barcelona (2008-09).

Spain wants a gold medal and so does Juanca. He has been playing with the national team for a decade, putting together two EuroBasket silver and one bronze medal, a World Championship title and a silver medal at the Olympic Games. With a chronic problem in his foot, he was expected to stay home this summer and rest, but he doesn't want to miss the action and joined his best friend Pau Gasol in the gold quest. Navarro is coming off a great comeback season to European basketball and giant FC Barcelona, where he won Euroleague MVP honours and led his team to the league title. Navarro is an explosive, superb long-range shooter who can hit three-pointers from anywhere and in any situation. He is also well known for his running tear-drop shot in the lane.
