Andreas Glyniadakis finally made it to a big event last summer after years and years helping the national team whenever he was needed but always being one of the final cuts. He grew up in Crete in a team named Kydon Chanion. He soon moved to Panathinaikos at the age of 16, but never got enough playing time there. Then, he went from one team to another, but having always NBA dreams at the back of his head. Drafted by the Pistons in 2003, he finally played 13 games with Seattle during the 2006-2007 season after being cut earlier by the Hawks right before the season. Waived on January 4th, 2007, he played for the Boston Celtics in the NBA summer league in Las Vegas, before deciding to come back to Greece, to Maroussi, where he has had two good, solid years, showing that he has improved.
