Goran Jagodnik is the most experienced member of the Slovenian national team. He has worn the Slovenian jersey since 1997. At the age of 35, he is still a solid performer as he averages solid figures in EuroCup with CEZ Nymburk. If he hasn't had a great European career, many players would like to have the same. He has been a real globetrotter playing in Czech Republic, Serbia, Poland, Turkey, Slovenia, Italy, Russia and Belgium. Along with his shooting abilities, Jagodnik has always been an above average rebounder for his position. The EuroBasket 2009 will probably be one of his last campaigns with the national team. |
