Adam Wojcik is probably the oldest player participating in the EuroBasket. The 39-year-old started playing professional basketball in 1987 and played his first EuroBasket in 1991. He touched a basketball for the first time twenty-five years ago when he was fourteen. Since then, he has never stopped. "The professor" is now considered to be one of the best Polish players in history. He won eight national titles in Poland, was a four-time MVP of the Polish League and was selected twelve times to the Polish All-Star Game. He has also been successful abroad. He played in Euroleague over seven seasons with five different teams. He had his best season in 2001-02, averaging 18.4 points per game with Peristeri Athens. This year, Adam did not lose his incredible scoring abilities, ending eighth in scoring in the Polish League. He can do everything on the offensive end: shoot, drive, and bang inside. But the national team will especially need his experience in the locker room and on the court.
