FIBA Europe announced on Friday the 24 players who will compete in the Champion U18 All Star Game, to take place in Katowice, Poland just before the Quarter-Finals of EuroBasket 2009.
"The decision was not easy, but we think that we have made a good choice," said FIBA Europe Coaching Cetificate Mentor Svetislav Pesic who was in charge of selecting the final 24 players.
"All 32 candidates were very keen to take part in the first ever Youth All Star Game organised by FIBA Europe, however some injuries and school commitments will prevent some of them to be in Katowice," added the World and European Championship winning coach.
The game tips-off at 14:30 in the Spodek Arena in Katowice, Poland on 18th September.
