France destroyed Belgium 92-54 on Sunday to claim the final place on offer for the EuroBasket in Poland.

Vincent Collet's team rebounded from Thursday's 70-66 defeat in Antwerp in the first leg of the Additional Qualifying Round Play-off to post a 34-point (158-124) triumph on aggregate.

Belgium have arrived in Pau, France, looking to cause the shock of the summer when they go up against Les Bleus on Sunday with a place in the EuroBasket 2009 at stake.

The Belgians won the first leg at home on Thursday, 70-66, and triumphant coach Eddy Casteels had no complaints.

Belgium inched closer to an appearance at the EuroBasket by upsetting France 70-66 on Thursday evening in the opening game of the Additional Qualifying Round play-off.

In front of a raucous Antwerp crowd, Eddy Casteels' team trailed by as many as 10 points in the first half against a star-studded French team but fought back to lead by three before going to half-time behind 39-37.
