    Ersan Ilyasova and unbeaten Turkey dominated yet again on Wednesday in an 80-64 win over Belgium to clinch first place in their EuroBasket qualifying group and book a ticket to next year's final round in Poland.

    Ilyasova, coming off his best professional season at Barcelona, had 22 points and eight rebounds for Bogdan Tanjevic's side as they won for the fifth time in Group B.

    With Turkey leading 42-40 at the start of the second half after a basket from Belgium's Christophe Beghin, the hosts outscored the visitors 19-6 for a 61-46 stranglehold on proceedings.

    Turkey twice led by as many as 20 in the fourth quarter before walking off the court with an 80-64 triumph.

    Tanjevic's team was 26 of 45 (57.7%) inside the arc compared to Belgium's 16 of 34 (47%).

    Oguz Savas had 13 points and Hedo Turkoglu 12 for Turkey.

    Kerem Gönlüm had a team-high seven rebounds to go with his seven points for the winners.

    Belgium, who slumped to 1-4, got 14 points from Roel Moors.

Tonight, we had a very dangerous rival like Belgium. They played for victory. Especially they played very well for 30 minutes. But we answered well and we won. I alsowould liike to thank our fans. They supported us very well for our three games at home. We always felt their positive impact."

    Hidayet Türkoğlu, Turkey Forward: "We played very well. We are a team and we always play as a team. Now We are in EuroBasket 2009. Being here as a captain, is an honour for me. We want to win against France also. I also thank all our supporters."

    Eddy Casteels, Belgium Coach: "We played one of the best teams in Europe. I am happy for the game that we played tonight. We played well against France and Turkey.  We arrived to this point in just a few years. We will be better in the coming years."

    Maxine De Zeeuw, Belgium Forward: "We had great experience during these qualification games. Tonight we played against a very good team. Turkey has great and succesfull players. For me it is a great experience too. I congratulate Turkey. I think we will be better in the coming years."
