    Eddy Casteels, Belgium Coach:

"I'm a little disappointed because we didn't show all the capacities of our team tonight. The good example in this kind of game, it's Florent Pietrus. He was not in the game against us (foul troubles) and tonight he is the spirit in defence of this team, the leader with his physical involvement. This is the real France."

    Lionel Bosco, Belgium Player:

"Tonight's game is not the image of our campaign of the qualifications. We knew that this confrontation against France was in two rounds. And we knew that after our victory during the home game it will be hard here in France. It's a shame to finish on this kind of result. We deeply know that this was not our real level tonight. I congratulate France, and we wish them a good European Championship."

    Ronny Turiaf, France Player:

"I was in a good spirit with this game tonight. Florent Pietrus helped us to play well on defence and he pushed me to do my best. We talk a lot before the game, with Tony, Boris and Florent and we said that we didn't want to end this story now. I would like to congratulate Antoine Diot. He was John Stockton tonight and I understand why he was MVP during the U16 European championship in 2005."

    Vincent Collet, France Coach:

"For Belgium, they didn't give the same pressure on defence like the first game. Tonight our defence was more efficient than Thursday and it make's an easier game. We are very happy to get to the European Championship, but we know that we have to progress if we don't want to have disillusion in this first group."
